Artist Helena Meek

     Helena Meek, a member of the American Society of Portrait Artists, The Portrait Society of Atlanta, and American Impressionists Society, specializes in landscape, still life, and portrait paintings.  She has also become known for her ability to capture “history on canvas” with her many paintings of historical homes and buildings.

Artist Statement

     “I believe the Southeast to be the most attractive area of our country. From the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee thru Georgia to the Keys of Florida, we are blessed with a full range of scenic attributes and seasons.  From the famous Okefenokee Swamp to the Everglades, we are in touch with all aspects of nature.
     It is my desire to capture each of these natural treasures and preserve our rich history in Oils on canvas and board. I want to capture more than the moment - I want to tell the story with my paintings, one that will speak for generations to come.”
